British Royal Air Force (RAF) Pilot’s MK VIII Flight Goggle, World War II Issue

Original unissued MK VIII goggles as worn by RAF pilots during the Battle of Britain, where they flew to repel the German Luftwaffe's bombing raids over England. 

The goggles' glass lenses are angled at the sides to assist the RAF pilots' peripheral vision in detecting approaching enemy aircraft.

Every pair is complete with its original British Government carton, stamped with the letters A and M for Air Ministry on either side of the King’s Crown of George VI!
