It was one of hundreds of original designs supplied to the War Department (today's Department of Defense) by the Walt Disney Studio in Burbank, California at NO charge to Uncle Sam, as Disney's contribution to the War effort!
This fully embroidered patch is over 50 years old and was designed to be sewn on the left sleeve of a soldier's dress shirt and coat.
We cannot state for certain that these are World War II Issue even though its 100% cotton construction and overall appearance is identical to other embroidered patches from the period.
