U.S. Naval Academy Officer Candidate Fouled Anchor collar insignia

As worn by Naval Cadets on their Service Dress Uniform at the United States Naval Academy located in Annapolis, Maryland.

This beautifully detailed and cleverly designed pair of Fouled Anchor collar insignia 1 ¼” wide x 1 7/8” tall consists of one anchor mounted on the ‘viewer’s left’ side of the paper insignia card, which is actually worn on the ‘wearer’s right’ collar, and one anchor mounted on the ‘viewer’s right’ side of the paper insignia card, which is actually worn on the ‘wearer’s left’ collar, clearly discernable by the outward position of the rope attached to each anchor!

The original tag paper insignia card is dated January 1985. Brand new, unissued.
